Val Petushkov

Val Petushkov is an accomplished Project Engineer and Geomatics specialist with extensive experience in land surveying, project management, and geomatics engineering. Since February 2023, Val has been contributing to WATT Consulting Group, following a comprehensive career spanning over two decades in various roles, including P.Eng at The Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta. Val's previous positions include Project Manager at Challenger Geomatics Ltd., Survey Manager at MMM Group Ltd., and Associate at Stantec, where responsibilities encompassed managing multiple survey crews, staff training, and overseeing complex engineering projects. Val holds a degree in Geodesy from Moscow State University and has furthered expertise through various certifications, including Project Management from PSMJ. International experience includes significant work in Russia, Sweden, and Germany, enhancing a diverse skill set in the geomatics field.
