Stefanie Koornneef

Stefanie Koornneef is a Canadian accountant who is currently the controller at Wattpad. Stefanie has over eight years of experience working in accounting and finance, and has held positions at various companies including Brandworks, Sandbox Advertising Inc., One Advertising, and AFS Business Management Inc. Stefanie began their career as an accounts payable clerk at General Dynamics Land Systems Canada in 2011, before moving into the role of accountant at Brandworks in August 2011. Stefanie held this position for two years before taking on the role of accounting manager at Sandbox Advertising Inc. in September 2015. Stefanie remained in this role for just over a year before moving to One Advertising in April 2013, where they worked as an accountant for two years. In September 2015, they returned to Sandbox Advertising Inc. as their accounting manager, a position they held until August 2016. Stefanie then took on their current role as controller at Wattpad in August 2016.

Stefanie Koornneef has a Bachelor of Management and Organizational Studies from Western University and a degree in Economics from the University of East Anglia. Stefanie is also a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) from the Certified Management Accountants of Ontario.

They are on a team with Manita Morgado - Controller, Marian Lim - Director, Finance, and Dale Zhang - Senior Accountant. Stefanie Koornneef reports to Dan Budlovsky, CFO.
