Deepak Palaksha Ph.D. has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Deepak is currently working as a Co-Founder at WattWorker, where they are involved in concept creation, electrical feasibility, industrialization of products, and business development for the world's first long-haul electric trucks. Deepak is also the Chair of MCAA Norway Chapter at the Marie Curie Alumni Association, contributing to building a strong academic-industry network and bridging the knowledge gap through formal and informal events. In addition, Deepak worked as a Machine Learning Specialist at Perlo, an Entrepreneur at Berkeley SkyDeck, and the Chief Technology Officer/Technical Project Manager at Energy Management System AS, where they developed software and hardware for intelligent energy asset management. Deepak was also a PhD research student at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), focusing on digital signal processing of biomedical cardiac signals. Deepak started their entrepreneurial journey by joining the Antler cohort in Oslo, aiming to co-learn and co-create initiatives for improving lives. Deepak also gained research experience as a Research Assistant at ValoTec, LivaNova, and Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital.

Deepak Palaksha Ph.D.'s education history began in 2009 when they attended Sapthagiri College of Engineering. Deepak completed their Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering in 2013.

After completing their undergraduate studies, Deepak pursued their Honors Master of Science (MS) in Computer and Communication Technology from 2014 to 2016 at Universität des Saarlandes.

In 2017, they enrolled at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree. Deepak specialized in Biomedical Cardiac Data Analysis during their Ph.D. program, which they completed in 2022.
