Amanda Patti

Area Superintendent of School Support at Waukegan Public Schools

Mrs. Amanda J. Patti is a lifelong resident of Waukegan and a WHS Graduate. She has fifteen (16) years of experience in the field of education, ranging from Pre-Kindergarten through 12th grade. Mrs. Patti holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Elementary Education from Northern Illinois University, a Master of Arts Degree in Reading with an emphasis on foundational literacy from Northeastern Illinois University, and a Master of Arts Degree in Educational Leadership with an emphasis on Curriculum from American College of Education.Throughout her years at WPS60, she has served as a first grade classroom teacher, a reading specialist, a Response to Intervention coach, an Assistant Principal, the Early Childhood Coordinator, and the Director of Federal Programs. Currently, Mrs. Patti serves as the Associate Superintendent for School Leadership and Development (Area II) in Waukegan Public Schools. Mrs. Patti has led work on close reading, balanced literacy, school and district improvement planning, as well as coaching principals on the implementation of best practice aligned to Common Core Standards. As a certified trainer on formative assessment, she has also supported the work of grade level and content teams on the use of data to improve instructional delivery.

Mrs. Patti supports the following Area II schools: Robbie M. Lightfoot Early Learning Center, Clark Elementary School, Glen Flora Elementary School, Greenwood Elementary School, Little Fort Elementary School, Washington Elementary School, North Elementary School, Webster Middle School, Benny Middle School, AOEC, and Waukegan High School.
