Kent Coulter

Kent Coulter has extensive work experience in the technology and research sectors. Kent has been serving as the Chief Operating Officer at WaveFront Technology Inc since July 2020. Prior to this, they worked at Southwest Research Institute as a Program Director from September 2019 to June 2020, and as a Manager from June 2005 to September 2019. Before joining Southwest Research Institute, Kent worked at JDS Uniphase as the Director of Science & Technology for Flex Products from June 2000 to June 2005, and as a Senior Research Scientist for Flex Products from February 1995 to June 2000. Kent started their professional career at Sandia National Laboratories as a Post-Doctoral Researcher from November 1993 to February 1995.

Kent Coulter earned a BS degree in Chemistry and Mathematics from Ouachita Baptist University from 1985 to 1989. Kent later pursued a Ph.D. in Chemistry at Texas A&M University from 1989 to 1993.
