Bart MacNeil

Bart MacNeil has extensive work experience in product management, technology strategy, and sales engineering. Bart currently holds the position of Vice President of Product Management at Wavelo since May 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Tucows as the Director of Product for ting internet from September 2020 to June 2022.

Before joining Tucows, Bart served as a Sales Engineer at SSIMWAVE Inc. from August 2019 to September 2020. Bart also worked at Microsoft as a Technology Strategist from January 2018 to January 2019.

Bart's earlier experience includes a long tenure at AT&T, where they were a Director overseeing technology, product solutions, and sales engineering for Quickplay. Bart played a crucial role in designing and launching the Quickplay Openvideo platform, catering to telecom and media giants like AT&T, Bell, Telus, Rogers, and more. Bart was with AT&T from September 2004 to December 2017.

Before AT&T, Bart worked at Amdocs in various roles, including Director of Strategic Vision and Director of Technical Product Management. Bart started their career at Toronto Blue Jays as the Manager of Information Services from 1992 to 1997.

Bart MacNeil completed their Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Computer Science from Dalhousie University in 1983. Bart then went on to pursue a B. Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from Dalhousie University, which they finished in 1987. Bart MacNeil furthered their education by completing their Masters of Engineering in Biomedical Engineering from McGill University, which they completed in 1990.
