Jurgen Klijn has over 25 years of experience in various sales and management roles in the technology and security industry. Jurgen began their career in 1997 as a Product Manager at Ascom (Nederland), where they focused on healthcare systems.

In 1999, Jurgen joined Getronics - Infrastructure Solutions as a Senior Product Manager for CCTV systems. Jurgen was responsible for product-market combinations, supplier selection, pricing, and providing direct sales support to account managers. Jurgen also developed a business plan for CCTV within the company.

In 2002, Jurgen moved to Optelecom-NKF, where they worked as an International Sales Account Manager. Jurgen handled direct sales and managed accounts for the company.

From 2006 to 2020, Jurgen worked at IndigoVision, starting as a Sales Account Manager and eventually becoming the Senior Sales Director for North Europe. Jurgen managed a team responsible for sales and business development in multiple regions, focusing on the BeNeLux and Nordics. Jurgen also served as the Director of Business Development and Regional Director for EMEA.

In 2021, Jurgen joined Motorola Solutions, initially taking on the role of Senior Sales Director for North Europe - IndigoVision. Following the acquisition of IndigoVision by Motorola Solutions, they continued to manage the IndigoVision Sales team for North Europe, covering a wide territory that included the Nordics, Benelux, DACH, Baltics, Eastern Europe, and Russia CIS. In 2022, they assumed responsibility for the sales of both Avigilon and IndigoVision brands in North Europe.

Most recently, Jurgen joined Wavestore in 2023 as the Head of European Sales.

Jurgen Klijn has a diverse education history. Jurgen began their education at Pire College Curacao, where they attended primary school from 1971 to 1974. Jurgen then moved on to Radulphus College Curacao from 1974 to 1979. Jurgen continued their studies at St Paulus Lyceum in Tilburg, graduating with Atheneum-B in 1981. Jurgen pursued Electronic Engineering - Information Technology at HTS West Brabant, Breda from 1981 to 1985, earning an ing degree. In 1991, they attended ISW in Leiden and obtained a NIMA degree in Marketing in 1992. Jurgen also received sales training at Praktijktrainers Benelux in 2000, specializing in Consultative Selling. Jurgen further enhanced their sales skills through Close That Sale! training at LDL Leadership Development in 2008. Most recently, starting from 2013, they studied Professional Sales Management at LDL Leadership Development in London.
