Liju John

Liju John has a diverse work experience in the operations and procurement field. Starting in 2012, they worked as an Intern-Portfolio Management at Wealth Insight. In 2013, they joined Virtus IT Services Pvt. Ltd. as a Commercial Assistant, where they were responsible for discovering, categorizing and contacting vendors for various requirements, inviting competitive quotes from different vendors, developing technical and quote comparison statements, designing and releasing work & purchase orders, interacting with accounts team and releasing payments to different vendors, and receiving and verifying goods received on the basis of Purchase Orders issued. In 2015, they moved to Accenture as an Operations Analyst – Procurement & Sourcing, where they were responsible for compiling Material & Services requirements and acquiring quotations for each requirement in congruence with the Procurement Policies mandated by the client, floating Requests for Quotations (RFQs) according to respective project needs, leading in preparing Commercial Bid Evaluations (CBE), and mandating delivery schedules. In 2018, they joined PVH India Ltd. as a Supply Chain Specialist, where they analyzed supply chain processes and recommended improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs, studied customer demand forecasts to determine production output and timeframe, and reviewed data on current inventory levels to identify any shortages or overages. Most recently, in 2019, they became an Operations Manager at Way.com, where they spearheaded 24X7 operations of multiple verticals, led 2 teams of 34 members, developed, implemented and maintained quality assurance protocols, and enhanced the efficiency of existing processes and procedures to optimize the company’s internal capacity.

Liju John completed their PGDBM in Finance, General from the Institute of Finance & International Management from 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, they obtained their 10+2 from SARASWATHI VIDHYALAYA, majoring in Mathematics and Computer Science from 2000 to 2002.
