Sanjeev Singh Sahni

Sanjeev Singh Sahni is the current Vice President of Service Operations at Wayfair. Sanjeev has also previously worked at McKinsey & Company from January 2008 to December 2017, where they were an Associate Partner. At McKinsey, Sahni provided strategic advisory services to leading global telecom, transportation, logistics, technology, and financial services organizations. Sanjeev also headed project teams of 5 to 20 and was responsible for engagements, profitability, and capability development.

During their time at McKinsey, Sahni conceptualized, staffed, and launched a trade finance business and digital platform for a top-2 global shipping and logistics company. The business grew to over $2B in assets and made a successful divestiture in 2021. Sanjeev also executed a lean operations transformation for a $10B payments technology organization which improved the NPS from -14 to 30. In addition, Sahni advised an outsourcing and offshoring industry association on the future of global sourcing and built a plan to upskill several million college graduates in the country. Lastly, they led a full-company cost control initiative for a top-10 US retail bank, encompassing branch operations and back-office functions. The goal of the initiative was to ready the business unit for divestment by targeting a 15% cost-to-income ratio improvement.

Sanjeev Singh Sahni has a Bachelor of Science from the Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University) in Varanasi. Sanjeev also has a Master of Business Administration from the Indian Institute of Management in Lucknow with a concentration in International Finance. In addition, they have completed Executive Education from Yale School of Management in Organizational Leadership. Sanjeev is also certified by McKinsey & Company in Lean Service Operations and by IBM in Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.
