Customer Sales Representative
JOB DESCRIPTION
WayFinder Logistics is a fast-growing, third-party logistics (3PL) company offering freight brokerage (non-asset-based transportation) services, including truckload, intermodal, flatbed, expedite, and LTL.
WayFinder seeks a personable and highly organized Customer Sales professional to join our team.
As a Customer Sales Representative, you’ll make a positive impact by developing your book of business including consultative customer selling; development of new clientele; and continuous knowledge of the market conditions.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategically develop new customers (lead generation, pricing, follow up) to increase company profitability
Prospect for leads and perform cold-calling to pipeline businesses
Pursue, build, and develop/maintain relationships with a focus on consistent revenue growth and account penetration
Create efficiencies for customers as a consultative logistics provider
Possess continuous/ongoing knowledge of market conditions, industry developments, and industry networking
Facilitate bids and RFPs
Composure and poise in a customer-centric environment
Maintain, grow and nurture a “book of business”
REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES
Solid communications skills with a positive and engaging personality
Motivation, strong work ethic, and an ability to learn quickly and problem solve
Proficiency in negotiating and multitasking
Capacity to be self-sufficient and a strong member of a cohesive team

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
2- 4 years of sales experience within logistics/transportation/3PL or related field
Bachelor’s Degree heavily preferred
A blend of education and applied work experience may be considered
