Jon Stanley

Jon Stanley is currently the CFO at WayForth. Prior to that, they served as the Chief Accounting Officer from March 2019 to June 2020. Jon was also the VP of Finance at WayForth from March 2017 to March 2019, where they were responsible for the design and implementation of the corporate finance, accounting, and administrative functions as the company began operations in multiple locations. Before joining WayForth, Jon Stanley worked at SunTrust from March 2015 to March 2017 as the Capital Markets & Origination Controller, where they oversaw accounting activity for mortgage origination and capital market activity, including accounting for mortgage derivatives. Jon's responsibilities included coordinating and implementing business initiatives into accounting and financial reporting processes, evaluating financial processes and controls and remediation of identified control gaps, compiling and analyzing mortgage production, securitization, and delivery reporting, and overseeing loan and servicing acquisitions and sales.

Jon Stanley earned a Bachelors of Science in Accounting and Information Systems from Virginia Tech.

They are on a team with Kim McMahon - Chief Strategy Officer, Scott Fleming - COO, and Sam Burch - General Counsel. Jon Stanley reports to Craig Shealy, CEO & Co-Founder.
