Kim Tran

Kim Tran is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in intellectual property and artificial intelligence law. Currently serving as Senior Counsel for IP & AI at Waymo since September 2021, Kim previously held the position of Legal Counsel at Adobe from October 2015 to September 2021. Kim's career also includes roles as an Associate at Perkins Coie LLP, a Volunteer Attorney with Rural Justice Collaborative, a Patent Law Clerk at F&A LLP, and a Litigation Summer Associate at Porter Scott. Prior experience includes work as a Business Technology Analyst at Deloitte Consulting and an intern at Agilent Technologies. Kim Tran earned a Doctor of Law (J.D.) with a dual concentration in Intellectual Property Law and Business Law from the University of the Pacific - McGeorge School of Law and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California.
