Darlena York

Darlena York is a dedicated professional with a background in business coordination and social media management. Currently serving as the Athletics Business Office Coordinator at Wayne State University since June 2024, Darlena has also contributed to the Detroit Pistons as an Account Executive from August 2022 to October 2024. Prior experience includes roles such as Social Media Captain at Macy's and a Research Assistant at the University of Michigan, where Darlena earned a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Afroamerican and African Studies. Additionally, Darlena is an active member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc., and previously worked at the Trotter Multicultural Center as Front Desk Staff.
