Scott Bowen

Scott Bowen is an accomplished academic in the field of psychology, currently serving as the Department Chair and Professor at Wayne State University since September 2007. With a progression in academic roles at Wayne State University, Bowen has held positions ranging from Interim Chair and Associate Professor to Assistant Professor and Post-Doctoral Fellow, beginning in 1997. Prior experience includes a Post-Doctoral Fellowship at Virginia Commonwealth University from 1993 to 1997. Scott Bowen earned a PhD in Psychopharmacology, as well as a Master of Arts and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, all from the University of Mississippi, where education was completed between 1984 and 1991. The foundational education took place at St. Martin High School from 1980 to 1984.
