Christopher Canning has a diverse work experience in the fields of mental health and academia. Christopher is currently the Director of Research & Academics at Waypoint Centre for Mental Health Care. Christopher Canning holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Sociology from Queen's University, which they obtained from 2005 to 2010. Prior to their doctoral studies, they completed their Master of Arts (MA) degree in Sociology at Queen's University from 2002 to 2004. Christopher began their academic journey by earning a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Sociology from The University of Lethbridge between 1997 and 2001.
