Susan Staples

Susan Staples serves as the Senior Vice President of People Experience at Waystar, overseeing HR teams dedicated to Talent Programs, Team Member Experience, Shared Services, and Workplace Experience and Facilities since November 2017. Prior roles at Waystar include SVP of Strategic Business Partnership and SVP of People Operations. Prior to joining Waystar, Susan was Vice President of Human Resources at ZirMed and held various roles at Humana and Yum! Brands, including HR Director for Pizza Hut and Director of Organizational Development for KFC. Susan's career began at Fifth Third Bank as a Senior HR Business Partner and includes early experience as a Human Resources Assistant at Caretenders Retirement Living. Susan holds an MBA in Entrepreneurial Studies from the University of Louisville and a Bachelor's degree in Business Management from the University of Kentucky.
