Karl Stroms

Karl Stroms has a comprehensive work experience in the financial industry. Karl started their career at Citi in 2006 as a Senior Fund Accountant, where they prepared NAVs, ensured reconciliations were accurate, and produced client reporting packages. In 2011, they joined Northern Trust Corporation as a Team Leader Fund Accounting, overseeing NAV reviews, producing performance reports, and contributing to system implementations. Karl later became a Senior Consultant Depositary Operations-Second Vice President, responsible for ensuring compliance with AIFMD and UCITS V regulations, reviewing and approving performance fees, and managing a team of 9 individuals. Currently, Karl is an employee of Waystone, where they began as a Compliance Manager in 2019 and now serves as an Associate Director Compliance.

Karl Stroms attended the Waterford Institute of Technology from 1999 to 2005, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Finance and Financial Management Services.
