Jeff Hawke

Jeff Hawke is the current Vice President of Technology at Wayve. Prior to joining Wayve, Jeff was a Senior Associate at The Boston Consulting Group from January 2017 to December 2018, working on strategy projects across a variety of sectors including public, energy, industrial goods, and consumer goods. From 2014 to 2017, Jeff served as Junior Dean at Hertford College, where they interned in software engineering and wrote code for a robotic arm pick & place system as well as a pose estimation method for robots accounting for external joint loading. Jeff's other previous positions include software engineering intern at Rethink Robotics from May to July 2013, and doctoral researcher at the Applied AI Lab at the University of Oxford from 2013 to 2017. Jeff has also worked as a graduate researcher in the Healthcare Robotics Lab at the Georgia Institute of Technology from 2012 to 2013, and as a robotics researcher at Willow Garage from May to August 2012.

Jeff Hawke has a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from the Applied AI Lab at the Oxford Robotics Institute at the University of Oxford. Jeff also has a Master's Degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology, and a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Mechatronics Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from The University of Auckland.
