Shannon Heffernan

Shannon Heffernan is an experienced reporter currently working at Chicago Public Media - WBEZ 91.5 FM since May 2011. Previously, Shannon served as the Online Community Manager for Vocalo.org from September 2008 to 2009 and worked as a Freelance Audio Producer for multiple media outlets between 2006 and 2008. Additionally, Shannon held the position of Youth Services Coordinator at the Arab American Action Network from 2005 to 2007. Shannon earned a Bachelor's degree from Grinnell College between 2000 and 2004.
