Vinay Simlot

Vinay Simlot is a multimedia journalist with extensive experience in sports reporting and production. Currently employed at WBIR-TV, LLC since May 2021, Vinay also serves as a reporter and executive producer for BuffSports Live, focusing on University of Colorado Athletics. Previous contributions include work with NewsTeam Boulder, where Vinay contributed to student-focused news shows, and an internship at NBC Washington, where Vinay gained valuable experience in news package production and reporting. Additionally, Vinay has experience as a basketball referee and a Pathways intern at the U.S. Naval Research Laboratory. Vinay holds degrees from the University of Colorado Boulder and Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology.
