Julia Kauffman

Julia Kauffman is a Multi-Skilled Journalist with experience in various media roles, currently working at WCNC Charlotte since June 2022. In this position, Julia has established strong relationships with community leaders to secure interviews and generate impactful storytelling. Prior to this, Julia served as a Multi-Skilled Journalist and Weekend Anchor at WLTX-TV, focusing on enterprise stories and state politics. Julia's career also includes roles as an Associate Producer at WCNC-TV, where responsibilities included on-air talent, video editing, and managing social media accounts. Early career experiences include internships at USA TODAY and WJLA.com, along with a marketing associate position at NorthStar Express Freight. Julia holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Media Studies from George Mason University, earned in 2018.
