Sean McNamara

Sean McNamara has a diverse work experience in the media industry. Sean is currently the News Director at WDAF-TV FOX4 since December 2019. Prior to that, they served as the Assistant News Director at WKMG-TV from April 2011 to December 2019. Sean was also the News Director at Central Florida News 13 from March 2007 to April 2011. Before that, they worked as the Marketing Director at WSTM-TV Syracuse from 2005 to 2007 and as the News Director at News 10 Now from August 2002 to October 2005. Earlier in their career, they held positions such as News Director at KCOY, Managing Editor at WOKR, Assignment Editor at R News and Time Warner Cable, and Reporter at Democrat and Chronicle.

Sean McNamara attended Duquesne University from 1987 to 1989, studying Communications/Journalism. Sean then transferred to St. John Fisher University and completed their Bachelor of Arts in Communications/Journalism in 1990.
