Saba MBoundza

Saba MBoundza has a diverse work experience history. In 2015, they started as an Editorial Intern at WeltN24 GmbH and later became an Editorial Assistant at N24.de. They also worked as an Editorial Assistant at FEBRUAR MEDIA for a brief period. In 2016, they took on a Freelance Writer role at Audible GmbH and ze.tt. In the same year, they joined BuzzFeed as an Adaptations and Translations Editor, where they were responsible for tracking down and sharing trending stories on social media and strategizing the social media presence of BuzzFeed Germany. They also served as the Senior Global Adaptation Editor and Senior Publishing Strategist at BuzzFeed, where they curated and adapted video and written content for BuzzFeed Germany's women-oriented Facebook and Instagram pages. In 2021, Saba joined Meta as a Localization Editor. They then transitioned to a Freelance Project Manager role at VICE Media in 2022, where they supported the team with project management and also worked on copy and transcreation. Currently, Saba works as a Senior Social Media Editor at We Are Era starting in 2023.

Saba MBoundza completed a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Journalism and Corporate Communications from Hochschule für Medien, Kommunikation und Wirtschaft Berlin (HMKW) from 2010 to 2013. Following that, they pursued a Master of Arts (MA) dual degree in Journalism and Human Rights/Humanitarian Action from Sciences Po from 2013 to 2015.
