Alex O'Byrne

Alex O'Byrne is the Co-founder and Managing Director of We Make Websites, a company that creates Shopify websites for leading brands. In addition, Alex is also an Investor & Advisor for next generation ecommerce and fintech companies, where Alex focuses on investing in ecommerce tech and providing advice on growth, people, tech, and leadership. Alex has also worked as an Anti-crypto writer and tech critic for web2 boomer, founder and editor of Fintechers, and founder of Kingsland Road Studio. Prior to these roles, Alex worked as a Senior Specialist at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, specializing in investment banking technology. Alex holds a BSc in Computer Science with Business and Management from The University of Manchester.
