Rohan D. Kekatpure

Rohan D. Kekatpure has had an extensive work experience in various roles and companies.

Rohan D. is currently serving as the Director of Data Science at Wealthfront since July 2022. Prior to this role, they worked as the Principal Data Scientist at Wealthfront from June 2021 to August 2022. In this position, they were responsible for leading the planning and implementation of Marketing Data Science at Wealthfront. Rohan D.'sresponsibilities included creating a data science project roadmap, developing data science projects for junior team members, and working on project execution in collaboration with a small team of Data Scientists. Rohan D. worked on technical project areas such as marketing channel optimization, customer profile and interaction modeling, and providing quantitative guidance to Wealthfront's marketing strategy.

Before joining Wealthfront, Rohan co-founded Threedy.ai in March 2019, where they served as the Chief Scientist until May 2021. At Threedy.ai, they built an automated picture-to-3D model creation system using computer vision and computational geometry techniques.

Prior to Threedy.ai, they worked as a Sr. Staff Machine Learning Engineer at PayPal from September 2018 to March 2019.

Rohan D. also served as a Principal Data Scientist at StreamMosaic from February 2017 to August 2018.

Rohan has worked at Intuit in multiple roles. Rohan D. was a Senior Data Scientist from August 2015 to February 2017 and a Data Scientist from October 2013 to July 2015. Rohan D. was also involved with Level Up Analytics during their tenure at Intuit, where they worked as a Software Engineer from August 2013 to October 2013.

Rohan D.'searly work experience includes working as a Senior Member of Technical Staff at Sandia National Laboratories from July 2012 to August 2013, and as a Postdoctoral Researcher from March 2010 to July 2012.

Rohan D. Kekatpure holds a Bachelor of Technology (B. Tech) degree in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. Rohan D. then pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University. Following this, they completed a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology between the years 2016 and 2019. Rohan further went on to obtain a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University. In addition, they obtained a certification from the CFA Institute by passing the Level I Certified Financial Analyst (CFA) examination in June 2012.
