Kyle Klein CPP, ABCP currently serves as the Head of Physical Security at Wealthsimple, a position held since January 2022. Since July 2014, Kyle has also been the Founder of ProTech Security Group Inc. Previously, Kyle held several roles at Shopify, including Senior Security Operations & Intelligence Lead and Security Operations Lead, where the establishment of a Global Security Operations Centre was a key achievement. Other notable positions include Manager of Emergency Preparedness, Parking & Security Services at Southlake Regional Health Centre and Manager of Emergency Planning & Security at Kwantlen Polytechnic University. Kyle has a strong background in emergency planning, demonstrated through successful implementations of various emergency plans in both healthcare and municipal settings. Educational qualifications include a Certificate in Disaster & Emergency Management from Ryerson University and a Bachelor’s degree in Management and Organizational Studies from Huron University.
