Liz Samson

Liz Samson is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in operations and strategic partnerships within the fintech and financial services industries. Currently serving as the Director of Brokerage and Platform Operations at Wealthsimple, Liz leads a diverse team in executing operational strategies across multiple functions, including institutional transfers, treasury, and client data management. Prior to Wealthsimple, Liz held various senior roles at RBC, including Director of Partnerships and Director of Business Design, where strategic merchant partnerships and future payments capabilities were developed. Additional experience includes working as a Senior Consultant at Everest Group and as a Supply Chain Analyst at Hewlett Packard Canada, complemented by an MBA from the Schulich School of Business and a B.Com. from McGill University. Liz also actively contributes to industry change as the Chair of the CIRO Transfers Committee.
