Dr. Ashish Mishra

Dr. Ashish Mishra has a diverse work experience that includes roles in machine learning engineering, scientific research, and data analysis.

Dr. Ashish is currently working as a Sr. Machine Learning Engineer at Wearable Technologies Inc.

Prior to that, they completed their PHD in Monte Carlo Modeling in FORTRAN/Python at The University of Toledo, where they developed a 3-D Monte Carlo model for light scattering simulations to find life on alien planets. Dr. Ashish also estimated orbital parameters with high accuracy using observational data.

Dr. Ashish has also worked as a Scientist at ISRO - Indian Space Research Organization, where they created Python modules for automatic classification and generation of damage statistics for various natural disasters. Dr. Ashish developed a flood forecasting model that integrated rainfall forecasts with bias correction to identify potential floods.

In addition, they gained experience as an Intern at Physical Research Laboratory, where they improved data analysis workflows and developed a Python data analysis pipeline for an optical polarimeter instrument. Dr. Ashish achieved real-time image processing and data analysis with significantly reduced runtime.

Dr. Ashish Mishra completed their education in Physics. Dr. Ashish obtained their PhD degree in Physics from The University of Toledo, where they studied from 2017 to 2022. Before that, they pursued their undergraduate studies in Physical Sciences at the Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology, graduating with a B.Tech degree from 2010 to 2014.

In addition to their formal education, Dr. Mishra has obtained several certifications in various fields. Dr. Ashish completed the Machine Learning Specialization, Practical Data Science on the AWS Cloud, DeepLearning.AI TensorFlow Developer Specialization, Intro to Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing in TensorFlow, and Introduction to TensorFlow for Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning from Coursera. Dr. Ashish also completed the Intro to Machine Learning and Pandas courses from Kaggle.

Dr. Mishra has obtained a number of certifications related to data science as well. Dr. Ashish has completed the edX Verified Certificate for Data Science: Productivity Tools, Data Science: Inference and Modeling, Data Science: Probability, Data Science: R Basics, and Data Science: Visualization from edX.

Furthermore, Dr. Mishra has also acquired proficiency in SQL (Basic) through HackerRank. These additional certifications highlight their dedication to continuous learning and expanding their knowledge in the fields of physics, machine learning, data science, and related areas.
