Sonja Nuttall has had a long and varied career in the creative industry. Sonja began their professional career in 2004 as the CEO and Global Creative Director of Warm Grey Seven, Inc., a design consultancy firm. In 2006, they co-founded the Donna Karan Urban Zen Foundation, LLC and served as its Global Creative Director. In 2010, they founded 12 3 6 9\u00ae and TIME, a luxury jewelry and watch collection, and also served as a Design Consultant for WeWork and TEDx Women. Sonja then co-founded WeAre8 in 2013, where they served as the Chief of Advocates and Influencers. In 2017, they founded Jyakuen Global LLC, a consultant firm partnering with disruptive innovators. Additionally, they have served as a Creative Director for the California Women's Conference and a Design Consultant for Bamford & Sons. Finally, in 2005, they founded HOPE, an event to raise funds and awareness for the Norbulingka Institute in Dharamsala, India.

Sonja Nuttall holds a Master of Arts degree in Fashion Design & Textiles from St. Martin's College.
