Jacob Waas

Jacob Waas has worked in the design industry since 2014. Jacob began their career as a Design Intern at McDonald's in 2014, and then returned to the company in 2015 as a Design Consultant. In 2015, they were hired as a Designer at BIG - Bjarke Ingels Group in their New York City office, and then in 2016 they were hired as a Lead Designer at McDonald's Global Design & Development Group. In 2017, they joined Gensler as an Experience Designer for their Retail Design Studio, and then in 2020 they became a Visual Design Manager at TURF Design (Architectural and Interior Acoustics). Jacob is currently an Associate Creative Director at Envoy's Chicago office (formerly Leviathan).

Jacob Waas attended SCI-Arc, where they earned a Master of Architecture (M.Arch.), and the University of Illinois Chicago, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Architecture.
