Merryl Carson

Merryl Carson serves as the Director of Workforce Education and a Sociology Instructor at Weatherford College since January 2021. Prior to this role, Merryl held various positions at Catholic Charities Fort Worth from July 2011 to December 2018, including Associate Director of Engagement, where responsibilities encompassed community awareness, public speaking, event planning, and donor cultivation. Additional experience includes roles as a Talent Acquisitions Specialist and Associate Director of Fund Development. Earlier professional experience at Pearson North America as a Publisher's Representative also contributed to a diverse career. Merryl holds a Master of Arts in Sociology from Texas Woman's University and a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies from Texas Tech University.
