Fathi Ghodbane

Fathi Ghodbane has extensive work experience in the field of human resources, mainly in the oil and gas industry. Fathi started their career at Philips as a research engineer in 1996. In 1997, they joined Schlumberger, where they held various roles such as field engineer, marketing engineer, rig manager, and training development and staffing manager. From 2007 to 2017, Ghodbane worked at Valaris plc as a senior human resources manager. Fathi then joined SPM Oil & Gas as a human resources director in 2019 and transitioned to the role of MENA Human Resources Director at Weatherford in 2023.

Fathi Ghodbane completed a Master of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering at IFP School in 2004. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Science degree in Physics from INSA Lyon - Institut National des Sciences Appliquées de Lyon in the years 1992 to 1995. In 1995, they also obtained a Master of Science degree in Microelectronics & Semiconductors Technology from Ecole centrale de Lyon.
