Staff Frontend Engineer

Weave is on a mission to accelerate drug development. We're working on removing regulatory and compliance bottlenecks around Investigational New Drug (IND) applications. 

We are a seeking a highly skilled and experienced Frontend Engineer to join our team. As a Staff Frontend Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing our frontend architecture, user interface, and user experience. We are looking for someone who understands the importance of starting simple and scrappy with a focus on customer needs. You'll be joining a lean, experienced team that moves fast while keeping quality high. We value simple, battle-tested solutions that just work. We're looking for startup veterans who can maintain a high focus on things that matter without unnecessarily complicating what gets built.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to discover and deliver delightful frontend solutions
  • Develop and maintain efficient and reusable frontend components and libraries
  • Optimize application performance and ensure smooth user experience
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest frontend technologies and industry trends
  • Establish frontend best practices and engineering standards.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience taking teams from MVP to successful B2B SaaS managing and juggling priorities accordingly
  • Strong experience in frontend development and architecture. Namely, React.
  • Familiarity with backend technologies and ability to collaborate with backend engineers
  • Experience with small teams who move quickly
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
