Jessie B.

Jessie B. has a long and diverse work experience. Jessie began their career in 2006 as an Intern for the Michigan Democratic Communications Department. In 2007, they became an Executive Intern for the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality. From 2008 to 2012, they worked for Archer Daniels Midland in various roles, including Senior Transportation Market Analyst, International Containerized Freight Market Analyst, and Commodity Merchandiser. In 2012, they became Director at The Webaround. From 2015 to 2017, they were Operations and Project Manager and Executive Operations Assistant at The Howard G. Buffett Foundation. Finally, from 2017 to the present, they have been the Director of Business Development at Mercaris.

Jessie B. earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in International Relations from James Madison College at Michigan State University between 2005 and 2008. Jessie then went on to earn a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign between 2011 and 2014, with a focus on Business.
