Marty O’Connor

Marty is a Senior Frontend Engineer at WebDevStudios who enjoys the constant challenge offered by web development. In particular, he loves frontend development because he feels it offers a great balance between coding and visual design.

Starting his career as a graphic designer in San Francisco, Marty has worked for several major Bay Area design agencies, whose work included some of the world’s most visible brands. He eventually found his way into web development and has been in love with it ever since.

A native of Greensboro, North Carolina, Marty and his wife, Anna, have a daughter, Camille, a cat named Steve and a black Lab-mix named Birdie. You’ll find Marty in deep thought while listening to some classic Chicago House Music, Depeche Mode, or perhaps even The National, if it’s raining. When he’s not building a new website, you’ll catch him DJ-ing dance music in his basement or at a local venue.
