Carolyn Sofman

Carolyn Sofman is a seasoned public affairs professional with extensive experience in managing communications and advocacy initiatives. Currently serving as Senior Vice President of Public Affairs at Weber Shandwick since June 2017, Carolyn previously held various significant roles including Vice President of Public Affairs at the same firm and Director of Public Affairs and Infrastructure Initiatives at the American Society of Civil Engineers. Prior experience includes positions at Powell Tate, where Carolyn advanced from Director to Account Supervisor, and Georgetown University, where responsibilities encompassed managing the Master of Arts Program in Democracy & Governance. Carolyn's educational background includes a Master of Science in Education from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Notre Dame.
