Ellen Demunter

Ellen DeMunter has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Ellen began their career in 2002 as a Project Coordinator at Red Light Management / ATO. From there, they worked at Blue Ridge Internetworks as a Business Manager, where they designed a marketing campaign and increased product sales. In 2005, they joined CityStaff as a Staffing Associate.

In 2006, DeMunter joined Ogilvy Public Relations as a Senior Vice President, Business Development North America. Ellen led business development efforts, researched and managed new business opportunities, and developed a training program for agency employees. DeMunter also implemented a global CRM system and oversaw corporate visibility initiatives, including thought leadership events and media placements.

In the same year, DeMunter also worked as an Executive Assistant at Ogilvy Public Relations, supporting the Managing Director in the day-to-day operations of the agency.

Since 2016, DeMunter has been working at Powell Tate, Weber Shandwick as a Senior Vice President Business Development, South Geo. Ellen has been responsible for establishing and leading the business development function, managing the full lifecycle of new client opportunities, and maintaining relationships with partners. DeMunter has also played a key role in corporate visibility by developing and maintaining the company's website, managing social media channels, and authoring various communications materials.

Throughout their career, DeMunter has demonstrated strong business development skills, project management abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of marketing and communications.

Ellen DeMunter attended Cheltenham High School from 1994 to 1998. Ellen then pursued a Bachelor's degree at the University of Virginia from 1999 to 2002, majoring in English. In 2000, they participated in a summer program at Katolicki Uniwersytet Lubelski Jana Pawła II, where they studied Polish Language and Literature. Ellen graduated from the University of Virginia in 2002 with a BA degree.
