Josh Gilbert has a diverse work experience that spans over several decades. Josh began their career in 1989 as a Legislative Correspondent at the Office of United States Senator Frank R. Lautenberg. In 1991, they worked as an English Language Teacher for a year. This was followed by roles as a Senior Associate at Robinson Lake Lerer Montgomery / Sawyer Miller Group from 1994 to 1996 and as a Director at Bozell Sawyer Miller Group from 1996 to 1998. Josh then joined Westhill Partners as a Partner from 1998 to 2002. Since 2002, they have been associated with Weber Shandwick in various leadership positions, including SVP of Strategy, EVP of Creative for Global Practices, and currently as EVP of Brand Impact on a global scale.

Josh Gilbert completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Political Science from Hobart and William Smith Colleges from 1985 to 1989.
