Jovana began their academic journey at Redmond High School, where they studied from 1994 to 1998. After graduating, Jovana pursued a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry at Northwestern University from 1998 to 2002. Following their undergraduate studies, they continued their education at Scripps Research from 2002 to 2007, ultimately earning their PhD in Biochemistry, with a specialization in Oncogenomics.
