Laura Elizabeth Wilson has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning various industries. Laura Elizabeth began their career at Clear Channel Communications as an On-Air Talent, Board Operator, and Event Coordinator. Laura Elizabeth then joined the Walt Disney Company as a College Program Intern and later became a Campus Representative, responsible for recruiting students and planning recruitment marketing initiatives.

After their time at Disney, Laura worked as a Marketing Manager at BenGlassLaw, where they helped develop and execute marketing strategies to penetrate and grow targeted markets in the legal field. Laura Elizabeth then moved on to Cvent as a Social Media Marketing Specialist, managing social media strategy and community management across Cvent's event product lines.

Laura's next role was at Hilton, where they served as the Manager of Social Media for Hilton Hotels & Resorts. In this position, they directed the brand's global social media presence, increased engagement on the company's Facebook page, and oversaw content creation and community engagement on various social channels.

Following their time at Hilton, Laura joined ICF as a Social Media Manager, where they advised on corporate social media strategy and managed promotions and social advertising campaigns for lead generation.

Before their current role, Laura worked at Georgetown University, where they held several positions including Senior Director of Digital Engagement and Social Media. In this role, they developed and executed the university's social media strategy, managed a creative services team, and directed social media marketing campaigns. Laura Elizabeth also served as an Adjunct Lecturer and Capstone Advisor at the university.

Currently, Laura is employed at Weber Shandwick, starting as a Vice President and later promoted to Senior Vice President of Digital Platform Strategy. Laura Elizabeth is responsible for leading digital platform strategy and has been instrumental in driving the company's digital initiatives.

Throughout their career, Laura has also been an active public speaker, delivering dynamic presentations and workshops on topics related to social media, digital engagement, emerging platforms, and marketing to gen Z.

Laura Elizabeth Wilson has a Master's Degree in Global Strategic Communications from Georgetown University. Laura Elizabeth also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Data Analysis from Longwood University. Additionally, Laura has obtained a Master's Degree in Public Relations & Corporate Communications from Georgetown University. Their undergraduate degree is a BA in Communication from Virginia Tech.
