Pamela Brankin has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Pamela is currently an Advisory Board Member at The Marketing Society Scotland. Prior to that, they worked at Weber Shandwick as Vice President, New Business & Marketing, Scotland & UK and Head of Business Development & Marketing, Scotland. At Weber Shandwick, Brankin's role involved creating cultural value and helping brands navigate the changing landscape of advertising. Pamela has also held roles at Scouts Scotland as an Assistant Section Leader, Cubs, and at Alzheimer Scotland as a Board Trustee. Additionally, they have been involved with One HealthTech as part of Team Scotland, where they promoted diversity in healthtech. Brankin has also worked at Cello Signal, The Leith Agency, Aridhia Informatics Ltd, Sword Ciboodle, and bigmouthmedia in various marketing and strategic partnerships roles.
Pamela Brankin's education history begins in 1996 when they attended the University of Glasgow. Pamela studied English and French but did not obtain a degree. From 1997 to 2001, they then pursued an MA (Hons) in English Literature & French at the University of Dundee. Later on, in 2001, they attended the University of St Andrews where they earned a Postgraduate Diploma in Information Technology.
In addition to their formal education, Pamela Brankin obtained several certifications. In 2000, they obtained an Advanced Level Business French certification from the London Chambers of Commerce & Industry. In 2017, they acquired the Good Research Practice and Research Data & Confidentiality certifications from the Medical Research Council.
