Sophie Richards

Sophie Richards is a seasoned political professional with extensive experience in parliamentary and campaign roles. Currently serving as a Senior Manager at Weber Shandwick since February 2023, Sophie also founded and chairs the Conservative Women’s Parliamentary Staff Network and holds the position of Deputy Chair for Conservative Young Women. From March 2016 to February 2023, Sophie was an adviser to the Rt. Hon Dame Eleanor Laing MP and led campaign efforts for their Speaker and Deputy Speaker campaigns at the House of Commons. In the 2019 General Election, Sophie was recognized as one of the youngest candidates. Sophie earned a Bachelor's Degree in Politics from Newcastle University, having attended Rugby School prior to that.
