Ted Davis has a strong and diverse work experience in the field of strategic communications and public affairs. Ted is currently working as the Executive Vice President at Weber Shandwick since September 2021, where they are responsible for executive-level leadership. Prior to this, Ted held the role of Senior Vice President- Public Affairs at the same company since April 2020.

Before joining Weber Shandwick, Ted worked at Davis Communications Management, Inc. as the Principal Consultant from August 1998 to April 2020. In this role, they provided strategic communications and public affairs counsel to various companies and individuals in Minnesota.

Ted also has experience working in educational institutions. Ted also served as the Interim Chief Marketing and Communications Officer at Minnesota State Colleges and Universities in June 2015.

Additionally, Ted has held various interim executive positions. Ted was the Interim President at The Midway Chamber of Commerce in June 2010, where they oversaw finances, operations, staff, and programming. Ted also served as the Interim Vice President of Marketing and Public Affairs at Visit Saint Paul from January 2009 to January 2010.

Furthermore, Ted has taught as an Adjunct Instructor at the Hubbard School of Journalism and Mass Communication - University of Minnesota from January 2000 to December 2007, where they taught the capstone course in the undergraduate Professional Strategic Communication Track.

To add to their experience, Ted worked as the Communications Director at both the Saint Paul Area Chamber of Commerce from January 1996 to September 1998 and the Saint Paul Public Housing Agency from September 1989 to December 1995.
