Emily Nguyen

Emily Nguyen's work experience starts in 2016 as a Web Design + Digital Marketing Assistant at UC San Diego Alumni. From 2017 to 2018, they served as a Web Developer at Information Technology Services at UC San Diego, helping establish an online presence for campus departments. In 2018, they also had a UX Design Internship at Salesforce.

In 2019, Emily had a Brand Design Internship at Vox Media, Inc. and worked as an Instructional Assistant for Practicum in Professional Web Design at UC San Diego. Emily then joined Design Co as a Brand + Visual Designer, later transitioning to the role of Web Developer and finally becoming Co-Creative Director.

Starting in 2018, Emily began working at AS Graphic Studio as a Web Developer, leading web design and development projects for UC San Diego's undergraduate student government. Emily was responsible for creating event sites, including the Sun God Music Festival.

From 2020 to 2022, Emily worked at MongoDB as a Visual Designer. Emily was embedded on the Brand Team, solving design needs across various mediums. Emily'smain focus was streamlining the team's workflow and scaling production by developing and managing design systems and libraries.

Most recently, in 2022, Emily joined Webflow as a Brand Designer.

Emily Nguyen attended Wilson High School from 2011 to 2015, where they completed their high school education. After that, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Cognitive Science with a specialization in Human-Computer Interaction and a minor in Computer Science at UC San Diego from 2015 to 2019.
