Roei Shlezinger

Roei Shlezinger began their work experience in 2019 as a Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem. In these roles, they assisted with research and teaching tasks. Then, in 2020, they joined KSM Research & Innovation as a Data Scientist. Roei collected, cleaned, and organized data for research projects, and conducted a significant study on COVID-19 that received extensive media attention and aided the World Health Organization. Most recently, in 2022, they joined Webiks as an NLP ML Engineer. In this role, they developed a dashboard for comparing NLP databases, created new lists of Hebrew stop words, and built a Hebrew Q&A database using crowdsourcing methods.

Roei Shlezinger obtained a Bachelor's degree in Statistics from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, where they studied from 2016 to 2019. Roei then pursued a Master's degree in Statistics at the same institution from 2019 to 2021. Additionally, in November 2020, they obtained a certification in "GCP for Clinical Trials with Investigational Drugs and Medical Devices (U.S. FDA Focus)" from the CITI Program, a division of BRANY.
