Kalle Soranko

Kalle Soranko has an extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Kalle started their career as a Research Assistant at the University of Turku in 2007, where they worked on computer systems and later became a digital system designer. In 2012, they worked as a Ship Electrician at Laivasähkötyö OY. Kalle then joined Nokia Bell Labs in 2015 for research and software development. In 2017, they worked as a Software Developer at Tieto and later at CGI. In 2018, they joined Verifa as a Technical Consultant, where they worked until 2021. Currently, they are employed at Webscale Oy as a Cloud Architect.

Kalle Soranko obtained their Master's degree in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications from Turun yliopisto - University of Turku, with a duration from 2004 to 2013. Kalle also earned a Master's Degree in Telecommunications, with minors in Computer Systems and Software Engineering, from the University of Turku - Finland during the same period.

In terms of certifications, Kalle has an Oracle Certified Associate, Java SE 8 Programmer certification from Oracle, which they obtained in August 2017. Kalle also holds a Fundamentals of OpenStack® Technology certification from HP Education Services, acquired in December 2015. More recently, in January 2022, they became a Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) through The Linux Foundation. In addition, Kalle obtained an AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in February 2021.
