UX/UI Designer at Webstacks

Mo Chen has a diverse work experience that includes roles in UX/UI design and education. In 2022, they worked as a UX/UI Designer at Webstacks. Prior to that, they gained experience as a UX/UI Designer, where they focused on UX and interface design for mobile and desktop apps. They also worked on visual brand design and usability testing for a kickstarter board game.

In 2021, Mo Chen worked as a UX Designer at Pairgap, where they conducted research and designed an intuitive site experience through the Agile process. They created and tested multiple iterations of wireframes and interactive prototypes.

Before transitioning to the field of design, Mo Chen worked as a Science Educator at the Cajon Valley Union School District from 2015 to 2021. In this role, they designed interactive and student-centered curriculum, developed a nurturing learning environment, and collaborated with diverse populations of students, parents, staff, and administrators.

Prior to joining the Cajon Valley Union School District, Mo Chen also worked as a Science Educator at Sunrise Middle School from 2013 to 2015 and at Gompers Preparatory Academy from 2012 to 2013.

Mo Chen's education history begins with obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Biology, General from UC San Diego, which was completed between the years 2007 and 2011. Subsequently, Mo Chen pursued a Master's degree in Education at UC San Diego, which was completed from 2011 to 2012. Mo Chen then furthered their education by attending General Assembly in 2020, where they studied User Experience Design. In 2021, Mo Chen participated in the User Experience Design Immersive program at General Assembly. Additionally, Mo Chen obtained several certifications, including Content Marketing, Growth-Driven Design, Inbound, and Contextual Marketing from HubSpot Academy in February 2022.
