Tai Cheng

Tai Cheng has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Tai started their career as a Social Worker at The Episcopal Mission Society in 1989 before transitioning to a role as an HR Manager at GreenPoint Bank in 1990. At GreenPoint Bank, Tai provided services such as employee relations, onboarding, recruiting, and training. In 1997, Tai joined TD Ameritrade as a Managing Director of Human Resources, where they led the HR Business Partner function and delivered various talent management and compensation programs. Tai held this position for almost 25 years until the company was acquired by Charles Schwab in 2021. Currently, Tai is working at Webster Bank since 2022 as the Senior Managing Director - Head of Talent Acquisition. In this role, Tai leads a team in matching the right individuals to the right job roles and developing a strategic approach to support the company's objectives.

Tai Cheng attended Stony Brook University from 1984 to 1988, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology.
