Asa Toburen

Asa Toburen has a diverse work experience in software engineering. Starting in 2015, they worked at Simpleview as a CMS Developer, where they organized a content process and collaborated with project managers to create and launch websites. In 2016, they became a CMS Developer II at Simpleview, providing support and maintenance for visitnorway.com and collaborating on a website reskin. In 2018, Asa Toburen joined Fly as a Software Engineer, contributing to the development of a modern web application for an online travel agency. They coordinated with various teams and suggested creative solutions to technical challenges. In 2019, they moved to Weedmaps as a Senior Software Engineer, working in a cross-functional agile team to plan, develop, and release features. They also collaborated with the analytics team to design and implement feature tests on the consumer-facing side of Weedmaps.

Asa Toburen attended Salpointe Catholic High School from 2004 to 2008, but did not obtain a degree or specify a field of study during this time. From 2008 to 2012, Asa Toburen pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Linguistics at the University of Arizona.
