Jackie Hymes

Jackie Hymes has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Jackie began their career as an Adjunct English Instructor at Los Angeles Valley College in 2015. In 2016, they worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of California, Riverside. Jackie then transitioned to a Creative Writing Instructor role at the TRIO Upward Bound Program in 2017 before becoming a Feedback Sage at Prompt. In 2018, they held Adjunct Faculty positions at both Los Angeles Valley College and AMDA College and Conservatory of the Performing Arts.

In 2019, Jackie took on the role of Content Manager at Scorpion, where they stayed until 2020 when they were promoted to Search Engine Optimization Manager. Jackie then moved to GR0, where they worked as an SEO Account Manager before being promoted to SEO Campaign Manager and subsequently moved to Matchbox Design Group as an SEO Account Manager. Jackie'smost recent role is as an SEO Coordinator at Weedmaps, where they started in 2023.

Throughout their career, Jackie has gained experience in SEO, content management, teaching, and creative writing, highlighting their range of skills and adaptability.

Jackie Hymes attended the University of California, Riverside from 2016 to 2018, where they obtained a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree in Creative Writing. Prior to that, they completed their Master of Arts (MA) in English-Creative Writing at California State University, Northridge from 2011 to 2015. Jackie also holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in English-Creative Writing from the same institution, which they earned from 2009 to 2011.

In addition to their academic degrees, Jackie has obtained various certifications in the field of marketing and advertising. In 2022, they completed certifications such as "Advertising with Meta" from Coursera, "LinkedIn Content and Creative Design," "LinkedIn Marketing Solutions Fundamentals," and "LinkedIn Marketing Strategy" from LinkedIn, "Advanced Google Analytics," "Digital Marketing," "Google Ads Search Certification," "Google Analytics for Beginners" from Google, and "Semrush SEO Toolkit" from Semrush.
